So What Is Auto Reform?

For the past 45 years, Personal Injury Protection (pip) has been unlimited in the state of Michigan. Now, Effective July 1st, Michigan residents will be able to choose the amount of coverage from unlimited to even opting out of coverage. In this video, I’ll tell you why Peabody Insurance Agency recommends keeping your Unlimited Coverage and why.

New order of Priority for PIP Medical

In this video, you will learn about the new Order of Priority for Personal Insurance Protection. We have included an easy chart for your reference and have given five scenarios to help you understand how your auto policy will respond if you are injured in an auto accident: Occupant of a Private Auto, Occupant of an Auto for Hire (like an Uber), Occupant of a Company Car, Occupant of a Motorcycle and finally a pedestrian or a non-Occupant.

Qualified Health Plan

Some Health Insurance plans do not provide medical coverage if you are injured in an auto accident. It is important for you to know if your health plan is considered a Qualified Health Plan, which is a plan that has an individual deductible of $6000 or less and does not exclude or limit coverage in the event you are injured in an auto accident. This video will help you understand the Qualified Health Plan.
